With all the notation softwares available to the public nowadays, everyone can produce scores at their computers - even for free.
This does not mean, however, that every score people make is high-quality, or even readable! It is also the case that even professionals need someone to look over their work after they are done, as mistakes can happen.
This is why having someone with a keen eye looking over your music can assure the quality of your work and make sure your performances will be hassle-free.

Rates:
Because of the uniqueness of each score, it is hard to set a fixed rate for music preparation. For this reason, I set my rates by hour of work. I price around 35€/h, although this might vary depending on the complexity of the project.
The initial quality of the files – that is, the readability of the manuscripts and pdfs, and the initial formatting of the sib. and XML. – affect the prices directly, given that it can drastically increase the time needed to complete a given work.
