Solo Works

We Never Forget the End of Things (2022)

For solo piano.

Three-work cylce for solo piano.

This work was written inspired by new image-generating technologies available to the public. The nine images presented were created using Craiyon, which synthesizes nine images from a text prompt. After a lot of experimenting, I have selected a total of nine images, three for each of the following prompts:

• Blue Apocalypse

• God in Red

• Green Dawn

I then wrote a piece for each of the prompts, recreating in music the effect those images caused in me.

Approximate duration: 12min.

Images created by the use of artificial intelligence, at www.crayion.com

Large Ensembles and Orchestral Works

Circus Disaster (2022)

Single-movement work for wind ensemble.
Approximate duration: 6 minutes.

This work paints the picture of a circus show. After a couple successful numbers, it’s time to present the lion. However, things don’t go as planned and the lion tamer loses control of its animal. The whole spectacle then ends in disaster, and chaos takes over the jolly atmosphere.

The work was written for and will be performed by the Orchestre d’Harmonie du Conservatoire du 12e, in Paris. A date for the performance is still pending.

Approximate duration: 6min.

For wind ensemble.

Impacto (2023)

Impacto is a single-movement work for a large orchestra.
